Safe lifting procedures :
- First necessary thing to be done is giving tool box talk about the hazards and control measures present in that work and environment
- The working area should be barricaded
- All the workers should be trained and competent in this work
- Engineers and safety officers should check the lifting plan
- Lifting supervisor shoul do the proper communication to the operator
- SWL for the beams and booms should be checked prior to work.
- Warning boards to be placed in the working area.
